This story was shared recently and comes to us in NZ all the way from Bishop Given of the Diocese of Kondoa in Africa, shared with us at AFFIRM by Rev Captn David Pearce.

A miracle is described in this letter below, which attests to our Lord's marvellous provision which we are excited to share with you.

"I am writing to testify the miracle that we saw today! Last December I organized all our programs for htis year, there were seminars,outreach,spiritual meetings, church planting program,leadership training and pastor retreats! While organizing these program I never knew there will be a long drought that will cause great famine in Kondoa. By the middle of February 2017 we have received no rain! I called a meeting with all the area Deans to pray and make any decision. During the meeting we decided to correspond with all the programs from January to May, because we knew that we cannot afford calling meetings or outreach while people are suffering for hunger! 

It is always exciting to be able to share in the journey of the 26 AFFIRM Parishes across the country...

It is often stated that younger practicing Christians are more in favour of same-sex marriage than older practicing Christians. While this is true, recent research carried out by Barna Research shows that, on this issue, younger practicing Christians are more closely aligned with older practicing Christians than they are with members of their own age group. In fact the gap between them and people of their own age on this issue is wider than the gap between older practicing Christians and those of this older age group.
